No fire without smoke

At last – after three different attempts spread over two weeks, I have some smoke photography photos I’m happy enough with to post!

The post processing on the hand is obviously not perfect – mostly because the flash washed out the hand (balancing it to be enough for the smoke yet not too much to dazzle [yeah really technical term I know] the hand was too hard) – but for a Photoshop beginner and my first few attempts with the remote flash I was pretty pleased with the end result. There are more to come but they take so much time to process and add effects to that I am giving up for the night – I just wanted to record the first few for posterity.

These ones took a bit more time..

    • Many thanks kind sir! I was very pleased with them, and what’s more they taught me a lot about camera settings – oh and a bit about photoshop!
